My experience at the Hazlehurst House was absolutely amazing.  I couldn’t have asked for anything more.  From the early stages of planning to the day of the event I felt very at ease and stress free.  You hear from most brides that the whole planning process is so stressful, but having the staff at the Hazlehurst House made all those worries go away. Every ides I had of my reception day were brought to life detail by detail.  I never had to worry about anything they handled everything from the flowers, cake, photographer, DJ, food, alcohol, invitations.  You name they had it handled.   The day of the event I arrived and was greeted before ever getting out of my car.  Someone was there to take my gift table items in, carry my dress and other personal items upstairs, and made me feel relaxed and at home.  When I finally got to go inside the ballroom I was completely blown away by how beautiful things were.  Everything was perfect!!!  My personal wedding assistant was awesome.  She never left my side and made sure all members of the wedding party were taken care of.  We were able to relax, snack, and not worry about a thing.  She was so pleasant to be around.  She even followed me step by step to make sure my dress train never hit the ground.  Anything we asked of her she was right there to serve with a smile on her face.  The photographer was a pleasure to work with.  He made me feel very at ease and took incredible photos.  If I am ever in need of professional photos he would be the first name that would come to mind.  The DJ was just what I was looking for.   We weren’t too comfortable with the first dance and he sensed that.  He just let us know that when were ready to stop it to give him a signal and he would stop the music and he did.  I was able to give him a list of songs that I definitely wanted to hear that evening and he made sure to incorporate them all into the evening.  Any requests made the guests were granted as well.  He stuck to the music we liked and had the guests up on their feet dancing all night.  All my guests raved about the food, cake and service.  Everyone had nothing but great things to say about the event, décor, food, and staff members of the Hazlehurst House.  We even had a guest arrive a little late.  When she got there all the food had been put away.  When a staff member was asked about the food they didn’t even hesitate and went and got my guest a plate of food.  Once the party was over I didn’t have to worry one bit about my personal belongings, gifts, cake.  Once again the staff members took care of everything and had it all under control.  The whole night was just amazing.  I never had to worry about a thing and was able to celebrate and spend time with family and friends.  The photographer, Scott Evans, and the wedding coordinator, Leslie Bishop, even went as far as to drive my husband and me to the hotel nearby where we were staying for the evening.  They wanted to make sure we made it safely to our final destination.  I have been to a lot of weddings but I have never seen the staff members take such good care of the wedding party.  Even the next day I received a phone call from Leslie wanting to make sure everyone enjoyed the reception and made it home safely.  I would highly recommend the Hazlehurst House to anyone planning a wedding or special event.  All your worries are sent out the door the minute you step foot in the house.  The staff members were awesome and handled everyone’s request and needs to the fullest and never quit smiling.  I just want to thank everyone involved with my wedding reception for making it such a wonderful experience for my guests and a night my husband and I will never forget.

Thank you so much for everything you have done for Bryan and I!  We wanted a nice outdoor wedding that didn’t need a lot of extra decorating and we more than found it at the Hazlehurst!  Everyone present at the wedding could not stop talking about how beautiful it was!  For me, planning a wedding did not come naturally…especially when planning from 3 hours away!  I still can’t believe how perfect everything turned out! 

From the time we showed up to the time we left, the staff was more than wonderful!  It was the perfect blend of hospitality and direction.  The professionalism of the staff was phenomenal.  Despite the unfortunate glitches [because Leslie couldn’t be there due to her emergency surgery], everything went off without a hitch.  I felt as if my day couldn’t have been any greater.  Bryan even admitted that once he saw where his money went, he was actually happy to have spent it!

I would like to thank you for helping us with the Open House hosted at the Central Georgia Technical College.  It was a tremendous success!  I have you and your great staff to thank for answering my call on short notice. 

Having you and your staff do a walk through with us and understanding our vision and limitations made a tremendous difference.  With a limited budget and our needs so widely divided in four different areas, I found your group a well tuned machine that handled all requirements with expertise and professionalism. They had with a warm, friendly grace that “does proud” the tradition of “southern hospitality” even in difficult circumstances.

I’m still getting compliments on the food and it’s been over a month since the event.  Your understanding of the group to be hosted allowed you to make wonderful suggestions for the menus which was a great help to me.  The placement of the food stations was right on target and were wonderfully appointed. 

I think the college folks were blown away with our event.  They know that their choice of vendor could not begin to compare with what you and your staff provided.  I thank you again for accommodating us and hope I have the pleasure of working with you again very soon.

I do not even know how to begin to thank you and your staff for everything you did to make our wedding and wedding day so fabulous.  From the start of planning, you gave your sincere attention to our day and we knew after meeting with you, we were in great hands.  I felt like we were on the same page from the beginning and that was a huge relief.  It was also a relief to know that you and your staff could do almost everything for us!  You all took care of so much of our planning items and we appreciate that so much.

From the food, cakes, flowers and the beautiful house, everything was wonderful!  I came in with a definite vision for our wedding and you truly made my vision happen and even far exceeded it!  Thank you so much for helping us achieve the garden reception.  It was so elegant.  The feel and look was exactly what I pictured even though we were all sweating so much!  The green table cloths were so perfect!  All of the flowers were absolutely gorgeous and were exactly what I was wanting!! I have had so many people compliment us on the flowers and especially the wreaths.  Thank you for making the decision to use Carithers.  I know I was a little hesitant at first, but I know now that the choice was an excellent one.  The food was outstanding!  The roast beef was my personal favorite.  Both of the cakes were wonderful also.  Celso truly did such a beautiful job!

I can't believe that the time has already come and gone.  It has been such a pleasure to work with you and get to know you.  You helped make our planning so much fun along the way!  Thank you again for making our wedding day such a dream come true.  I would not have changed on thing and will always look back on that night with such wonderful memories!!  Thank you, thank you.

Ander and I would like to extend our biggest thanks for all of you for making our wedding day so memorable.  November 15, 2008, will be one of the most unforgettable days of our new life together.  Words can truly not express how spectacular our event was, as everything far exceeded any preconceived notion of what we expected our wedding to be.  From the very beginning, you made the progress of planning a wedding hassel free.  For the first time in my life, I was able to let things go, knowing our wedding was in the best hands possible!

Steve and Melanie, the music for both the ceremony and reception appeared to be taylor made for our night.  Melanie, your girls are so talented and we are both honored that they both played such beautiful music for our ceremony.  Steve, you made our reception!!!!  The music selectioin was ideal and your interaction with the multitude of our family and friends was priceless. 

Celso, both the wedding cake and the groom's cake were incredible!  Not only did the cakes look marvelous, but everything tasted equally amazing.  Thanks so much for incorporating our Georgia design at the last minute...this made my husband's night.

Erin, thanks for being my second set of hands!  If I needed anything, you were right by my side.  You had such a calming affect that all my nervous energy just disappeared.

A Christmas Wedding at the Hazlehurst House! It was absolutely beautiful! We met Leslie at the January bridal show, but HHH was over an hour away from us. The brochure kept jumping out of bags every time we would review our options. We decided to arrange a tour, as soon as we stepped out of the car my daughter knew The Hazlehurst House was exactly what she had dreamed of! You would think a Christmas Wedding would be very hectic, it really wasn't. Leslie, Felicia and the staff had everything under control. The vendors- DJ, florist, photographer, caterer suggested were outstanding. Anything we wanted to do was done. The evening ceremony was in the garden, which was stunning! The ballroom looked like something out of a magazine. We all had a wonderful time at the reception. All of our guest have said it was the most beautiful and organized wedding they have every attended. We would extremely recommend Hazlehurst House for anytime of the year, but we think Christmas is the most beautiful!
